I want to start off by saying thank you to all the parents and guardians for their support during this round of online learning. The transition from in-school learning to online learning was for the most part an easy transition and the parents played a huge part of that. The student’s resiliency really shown through as students used their reading, writing and mathematical skills and adapted them to working online. I’m proud of all the grade 2 students and what they were able to accomplish this time around during online learning. Having said all that, I’m happy that we will be able to finish the school year off in the classroom. There are things that happen in the classroom that can’t be replaced online, so it was a nice surprise to hear that we will be able to move back into the classroom. I look forward to seeing all the grade 2’s during the month of June.
To the 2021 graduates of LSK, I want to say congratulations. You all have worked extremely hard to get here and this accomplishment will be with you for the rest of your lives. Hopefully you can take all the experiences and lessons you’ve learned over the years at LSK and use them on your life’s journey. Awesome job!
