Welcome back to in-school learning!! Those past few weeks before Christmas break was very busy for me. I assisted with the distribution of the student Chromebooks and then assisted with the distribution of incentive cheques. I hope everyone had a great Christmas break, and I hope everyone was safe. Due to Covid protocols, my family wasn’t able to have the big annual gathering, but that was for the best. My Christmas was very nice… and safe!
I hope students are looking forward to returning to school. Our teachers are especially happy to be back on site. We can’t wait to see you all in person again. Fingers crossed that this is the only time that we have to shut down school or go online to learn. Reading books to our students was a big challenge for me. Hopefully, after a week of professional development prior to the students return, I will have a better grasp on the online learning tools. I am glad that our grade six teacher added me to her classroom because I was able to do some online reading. The epic site has books that are read aloud to you. It is amazing!!! I also was able to read a few new Christmas stories/legends.
