It is the start of a new school year and I would like to welcome everyone back. We have a few staff members and students who have moved on from our school and we wish them all the best.
It is looking a bit more normal for this upcoming year. I am so excited to be able to conduct my library sessions in the library. It is so nice to let students choose their own books to read and enjoy.
With that being said, I am also excited to be able to host the Scholastic Book Fair in December. It has been over two years since we last hosted the fair, and many students have really missed it. I think we have all missed it.
I look forward to continuing to updating our school website, creating our monthly newsletters and writing for the Micmac-Maliseet Nations Newspaper. If anyone would like to read any back copies of our newsletters, they are available on our school website… www.lskschool.ca
