Happy March LSK! It will be a fun filled month with Winter Carnival Week, and of course March break coming up. Our Citizenship 9 course has begun this semester, we have been learning about types of political activism and students are researching young indigenous activists who represent their communities from around the world. In Social Studies 7 our class has been studying African Canadian history, and to end off our unit on Viola Desmond we created a class mosaic art piece (photo attached). In ELA we have completed our class novel studies of Hatchet in ELA 8 and Indian Horse in ELA 9, congrats on your hard work everyone.
