Hello parents and guardians of grades 7-9!
As we move into February students are hard at work. Grade 7’s are continuing to work on their unit on Greek Mythology and will be creating their own face masks in the likeness of the god or goddess they have chosen. They are excited for this and have been planning what their masks need to look like. In Science grade 7’s are learning about animal interactions and how they live together and live off of each other. Grade 8’s just finished up their unit on Climate Change and are jumping into Science Fair. Grade 9’s have finished their Exams and are moving on to a few new courses during 2nd semester. They have completed Science 9 and will be taking Health 9. All the students in 7-9 have completed Tech Ed and will be taking Home Economics with Grade 7 focusing on Sewing, Grade 8 on Foods and Nutrition and Grade 9’s on Child Studies. I can’t wait to see what they produce!
