I’m excited to start the school year and to see all the smiling faces entering the school. I will be the Early Literacy Intervention teacher again this year. I look forward to reading and writing with our students this year. September has been a busy month of classroom routines and assessments. The first round of ELI will start the second week of October and run for 15 weeks.
What is ELI? Early Literacy Intervention (ELI) Program is a supplemental literacy program designed to help struggling readers achieve grade-level competency. ELI is delivered through explicit, direct instruction in a small-group format. Fast- paced lessons aim to engage students and promote rapid processing.
