K’we Parents and Guardians
ELI will begin the week of October 26th. The ELI program will consist of 15 weeks of everyday sessions for thirty minutes. Each group will have three students attending one session for thirty minutes. Remember that The Fountas & Pinnell Early Literacy Intervention System (ELI) is an intensive, small-group, supplementary literacy intervention for students who find reading and writing difficult. The goal of ELI is to lift the literacy achievement of students who are not achieving grade-level expectations in reading. My goal is to help them improve specific reading skills such as letter-naming, initial sounds, phoneme segmentation, and comprehension strategies.
