Principal’s Message

Dear LSK families,

Welcome to the 2022 – 2023 school year!

I hope that you enjoyed a summer full of health and happiness, and that everyone is rested, recharged and ready for a fantastic year. We, as the staff, look forward to partnering with you as we face the upcoming year. We will be continuously striving to build relationships with students to help them feel safe, valued and accepted. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

It is my pleasure to become the new Principal of LSK School. I have been a teacher and administrator for over 20+ years. I worked at LSK briefly when the new building first opened. I know I am returning to a school with a deep sense of culture that provides many opportunities for students to discover their passions as learners.

I know I will have a lot of students to get to know and much to learn about what makes LKS a great place for students. I am sincerely looking forward to beginning my time at LSK and look forward to getting to know you all.

We acknowledge the work parents and caregivers do each day to help their child navigate school, and we acknowledge those students who are navigating it alone. At times, you will need to sit with or check in with your child about independent assignments. At times you will need to contact the teacher regarding content or SEL (social and emotional learning) related manners. We will certainly reach out to you. This partnership is the most important for of family engagement there is. We value your input.

My door is always open. Please feel free to call or email to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year. I look forward to working with you and helping each student at LSK meet his or her goals and have a successful school year.

Wela’lioq,

Stacy Lovell
